JAMFEST

Well folks, another cheer competition season is here!!
the wonderful, RiverCity ROCKETS had their 2nd competition of the season this past weekend, which was held here in Jacksonville. This weekend we will be going to Lakeland, FL for another, then another one end of February in Atlanta, then one in Orlando in March, and one in Daytona in March, then one more in Jacksonville in April to end the season.
I look forward to each and every one of the competitions and all of the performances. I am so glad that Macy has a passion for cheerleading & dance like I did when I was younger.
Here are a few photos from this past weekend at JamFest!

St. Augustine

So over my break from work in December through Jan 2 I went to St. Augustine 4 different times. Twice I went to the outlet mall, then once I went to see the Christmas Lights and to
"Winter Wonderland" at the Amphitheatre, then another time with my mom's family to see the lights again and to have dinner and shop. The lights down there are just beautiful.
I enjoyed EVERY minute of it each and every time.
I especially love the fact that my mom, her sisters, my cousin, and my grandparents all went and spent some nice, quality time together. We don't get to do that nearly enough!
Here are a few pictures...

Happy New Year 2012

I know that I'm a little late on some of my posting, but it's better late than never!
This New Year's Eve wasn't much of anything. Macy and I went to my mother in law's to play Shanghai Rummy, which is by far my favorite card game. We had finger foods, wine, champagne, and played cards and had many laughs. The little girls had sparklers while we older girls played cards. Jake stayed the night and brought the new year in with Ma and Pa, cause he was too sleepy to go to Grandma Cathy's! Jesse had to work on New Year's Day so he couldn't stay out late. He went to Johnny's mom's and only stayed until 11:00.
I was still able to have my New Years kiss with my hubby just after midnight. I stayed and rang in the new year at my MIL then headed to my sister's and rang in the new year with her and my hubby, and Macy. My sis, Macy, and I even did a few more sparklers.

I didn't take too many photos, but here are a few from the night.
