Normandy Dentistry GRAND Opening @ new location

So last Monday was our official day at the new location of "Normandy Denistry."
We are all so happy to be in a BRAND NEW facility that is "oh so nice!"
Everything is so pretty! It really feels like you are in a spa rather than a dental office!

Easter Sunday

We had such a wonderful Easter weekend.
1. Saturday afternoon the kids and I colored eggs

2. Saturday evening, my sister and I completed a 5K, Run for Cover run in Riverside

3. Sunday morning, we woke up and discovered what the Easter bunny brought the kids in their baskets

4. Followed by a wonderful church service with lunch at the Olive Garden following with the Smith side of the family.

5. Then we headed to Ma and Pa's to have dessert and the kids' Easter egg hunt

6. Come 6:00 I was exhausted!!

Overall we had a fantastic holiday!

I am pleased to say that I and my kids know personally the true meaning of Easter and understand the sacrifice that our Lord, Jesus Christ sacrificed for us. I asked Macy on the way home from church if she understood what the pastor was describing when he said "died for our sins and rose on the 3rd day" and I am happy to say that she responded with a big "Yes!"

Our Easter weekend was a GREAT one!!

American Open Cheer and Dance Competition & Disney World

This past Friday started Macy's Spring Break

Friday morning Macy, Mom, and myself headed down to Orlando for a weekend of fun!

Friday we went to Magic Kingdom, where we stayed until Fireworks. We were exhausted by the time we finally arrived at our hotel and checked in!!

Saturday morning we had yet, another cheer competition,  The American Open,

which by the way, they performed AMAZING! After Macy was finished with he

r performance we headed to Epcot for the BEAUTIFUL Flower and Garden Festival. We had such a great time!! I'm glad to have spent a weekend with my mom and Macy

Sunday Macy had to compete again, and let me say they did even better than the day before, which we thought was impossible cause they did so good. It sure did pay off, cause they were

National Champions!! We were all so proud of them!!

Macy's 8th Bday Sleepover

Macy's 8th birthday

was this past Saturday night. She had 8 friends stay the night. I am glad to say that only parents were called to check in, but not to have to come and pick up any children. I had only 2 that I was worried about wanting to go home.

The girls all had a blast!

I had fun too! It was just the girls and I. Jake was with Ma and Jesse was at work.

I made the cake and decorated it by myself.

The theme of the party was "Monster High"

I had to use food coloring to make three different layers different colors, per Macy's request.

And of course they were her 3 favorite colors. I found the idea from Pinterest (my favorite website)!

In between the layers I spread vanilla icing with strawberry preserves on top.

It was quite delicious!!

The newest addition to the Rohn clan

Say hello to our newest addition,

"Buck"

He is a chocolate lab. He is the sweetest, smartest puppy that I have ever seen!

He has the softest coat and the prettiest green eyes!

Macy turns 8

On February 29, 2004 we were blessed with a beautiful, healthy, 6 lb 9 oz baby girl.

Our lives were forever changed!!

Today she celebrates her 2nd TRUE birthday on February 29, 2012.
