Time for a new post....

I think it's time for a New post. I need to do a little updating with some photos that have been taken over the past month....only a few though!

We have had a lot going on the past several weeks. I have picked up a few extra days at work for Gabbie on Mondays and I have had slam packed weekends.

These are a couple of photos from the Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach

on 4.29.11. I love going! It's an annual event. We usually go and take the kids to watch the "Pirate Invasion" and see the Fireworks, but this year just Jesse and I went with friends to have some "adult time" at the Palace Saloon.

We had such a great time spending time with family this year! Holidays are crazy with us having to go to so many places, but it's all worth it in the end.



HaPPy MoTheR's DaY!

I have to say,

 "I had a GREAT Mother's Day!"

 Today was spent with my husband, kids, and my wonderful family. The start of the wonderful day was the fact that I got to sleep in until 9:15 this morning. I could have slept longer but the phone began ringing....

We had lunch with the "Rohn" side of the family, then we headed to Ma and Pa's house to spend the afternoon with them. Pa took us on quiet boat ride, played outside with the kids, rode the four wheelers, and cooked out.

Which, this was my view. Pretty relaxing, huh?!

And this is my very 1st planter that I have ever done, which I did Monday on my day off from work. I think I did a pretty good job! Now all I keep

thinking about is going to buy more plants to do another!

Being that the kids are still young, Jesse has to buy my mother's day gift, which he got me flowers and a day for him to watch the kids so that I can go and get pampered.....ANY day that I want! Overall I had a great mother's Day!!

Goodbye Weekend...

Man, I can't believe how fast the weekend flew by!
It seems like just yesterday was Thursday evening and my weekend was just starting. Yes, I said Thursday....I had the day off on Friday cause of my wonderful co-worker Loni offering to work for me since I have been filling in on so many Mondays, which is usually my day off.
I really enjoyed this weekend and spending some much needed time at home and catching up on my cleaning and organizing our new home. (I'm posting from my iPhone, so I will have to add photos of the house later!)
Things that were accomplished this weekend were:
1. My house cleaned and organized.....yay! It makes me so happy!
2. Had friends over for the UFC Fight Saturday night
3. Went to dinner and the Annual Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach
4. Had my Mamaw and Papaw come over to finally see our new house
5. Watched the "Royal Wedding" Friday morning while in my pj's on my couch
And most of all, I spent time with the kids and Jesse!

I'm looking forward to next weekend cause it is Mother's Day, which I happen to think its an amazing holiday!! All that I ask for is that I get to sleep in on Sunday and that I don't have to clean a single thing all day!
