Happy Wednesday!

Today after work we are leaving for the cabin in North Carolina.
I absolutely cannot wait! Even the drive I don't mind.
Old country towns, cow pastures, corn fields, ranches, the list goes on....I enjoy taking the backroads.
We will come home on Monday, Labor Day.
I am looking forward to sleeping in, relaxing on the porch with the fresh, cool mountain air while hanging out with who's most important.....Family for 5 nights/4 days.
Here are a few photos of whats been happening the last week.

Those are photos of the kids last day of summer trip to the beach. We went on 8.21.11, the day before Macy started school. We had such a great time! We went with Tiff and Kingston, Daniel, Jesse, Tracey, and Ryan.
This is a photo of Jake's tongue after eating all of the blue and red icing off of his cake slice at Kyler's birthday party. He's such a silly boy!
Oh, these are our birds....3 ducks and 2 geese actually. Those dang geese are so mean! Look at the one with his neck out acting like he's about to attack! His name is "Sebastian." The other geese is "Flounder." Macy named them... I know they aren't sea creatures!
This is my little cutie patootie with Cheetos on his face! He LOVES Cheetos!
Look at those ringlets!
This is the Normandy Dentistry Gang....well most of us, at Moon River. We went for lunch for Loni's last day
with us here in Florida!
Loni and I at Moon River. She's such a great, sweet friend of mine. I'm going to miss her like Crazy!
I will see you soon Loni! I'll be coming to visit you with those babies!!

A little going on...

I'm a little bummed that the end of summer is near, however, then again I'm happy cause Football
season starts again! Woo Hoo!
We went to Disney World a few times over the summer, went camping at the Lake, went to the beach, out in the boat, then we went to Orlando to go to Wet N Wild with some friends and to City Walk.

Now next week will be our last trip of the summer, we are going to the mountain cabin in
North Carolina for 5 days for the Labor Day weekend.
I absolutely LOVE it up there. If I didn't love my life in Florida and it wasn't so hard to get a RDH license there, I would move there.
Anywho....
This past Monday was the first day of school for Macy, which she is in the
2nd Grade
I can't believe she is going to be 8 years old in February! Yikes, that makes me feel old!
Here is some photos of her 1st day of school.....

Now we are ready for another exciting weekend!!

It's coming to an end...

Let's see...summer vacation is almost over!
It's almost time to get back into the groove of things....the sad part is that I have to wake up 15 minutes earlier to drive Macy to school for the 2nd grade and to get to work on time.
I can't believe that my baby girl is going to be in the second grade already. It seems like just yesterday I was dropping her off to PreK for the first time while I was pregnant with Jake.
I hope that all the kiddos have a great upcoming school year!
Now, when is the next holiday again, or how many days until Christmas break?????

A day at the Spa

This is where my relaxing day began........

Our wonderful boss and his wife are so great to us! They have done so much for our team, but a day at the
Ponte Vedra Spa
beats most of all of the things, well Disney was pretty fun too!

This is a photo of my Utah friend, Loni. She leaves at the end of the month, and Oh how I'm going to miss her!

I, Amanda, and Sandy with our Strawberry Exression frozen drinks....they were Yummy!!

And this is my view from my lounge chair.....Ahhhh....this is relaxing!

Loni, Savannah, and I in the locker room

I could have sat there ALL day!

The butter were made into the shape of seahorses, the Spa Logo.....how neat!! We were impressed!

Our day started at 9:15 Saturday morning when we walked into the women's locker room, put on our swimsuits, robe, and our slipper sandals.
We spent until about 11:30 poolside, and between the hot tub, steam sauna and dry sauna, before laying on the cushy couches waiting for our names to be called at Noon for our spa services.
I had a nice Deep Tissue Massage. It was so relaxing. After each one of us were finished with the spa service of our choice, we went to lunch with Dr. Lee and his wife, Jane.
After lunch was over, I was a little sad that I had to leave and go face reality at home....Clean house..ugh!

Until next time PVS!!
Thanks Dr. Lee and Jane!!!

Thought of the day....

Yes, that's right, I am truly blessed.
Sometimes between all of the busy things in life, it's hard to stop and realize how great I have it to even be here. I have a great hubby, two beautiful, healthy kids, wonderful parents, a loving and caring family, awesome friends, a great job and coworkers, a roof over my head, a bed to lay in at night, food in my pantry......

I think we all need to realize that life isn't about all of the big expensive things, big vacations, how big of a house you have or what kind of car you drive, rather it's about how you live your life to the fullest.
And I am trying to do just that!

I am Blessed!

Now, I have to say that I am so thankful to be going to a "Spa Day" with my coworkers on Saturday! I'm looking forward to it! Ponte Vedra Spa, here I come!!

Slow Down!

I can't believe that summertime is getting close to the end....well, the heat not so much.
I am so ready for October/football weather!
However, I'm not ready for Macy to go back to school on the 22nd.

We have had a wonderful summer, but we haven't done anything too exciting...no big trips this year, which by the way I'm normally on a boat listening to Jimmy Buffet on the water of Key West on this day. Bummer.....

I am excited about school shopping with Macy, which I'm sure the little Diva will cause a few arguments and throw fits cause I won't buy her every little fashionista outfit!

I'm also excited about doing some crafts. I am completely obsessed with Pinterest.com
I find all sorts of cool ideas to be crafty and make homemade items, such as laundry detergent, playdoh, moon sand, all sorts of treats and decorations for my house.....the list could go on and on....

I'm also excited about planning Jake's 3rd birthday party for next month. I can't believe
that my baby boy will be 3!

Slow down August...I have things to do before you end!!!
